Optics Lesson

Today we had a visit from some physicists. They were teaching us about optics and light. These photos show some of the experiments that were shared.

Homework Environmental Challenge ideas

Environmental Challenge:

Tidying up the forest behind Ethan's house
Gardening badge or conservation badge-Cubs
Collecting rubbish on the side of the road or at the beach.
Weeding at school or home.
Pick up after yourself at school and home and in the community.
Tidying the bike park.
Contact DOC and help them with a project or start a project.
Collect stones and put them in the skink garden.

Camp Giant Egg Drop

The egg drop competition was fierce with two groups who did not break their eggs even after throwing from the top of the fort. Enjoy the photos and videos.

Dylan and Lauren share their news from Morocco. We had a challenge trying to open their special box.




We had fun sharing our news from the holidays. We introduced ourselves in Maori, English, German, French and Swedish, and then we made connections with each other.
